The SSL AWS Truck Tour On tour near you in the USA in 2017!

Solid State Logic are coming your way with our fully equipped touring demo studio.

The SSL AWS Truck is a custom built mobile demo studio. It contains two distinct demo systems; one is based around our AWS 948 hybrid studio production console and a collection of SSL I/O. The second system is based around Nucleus2 with a particular emphasis on its use in Dante based multi-seat teaching labs. The truck’s internal acoustics were designed by Russ Berger so it provides a professional, comfortable listening environment for getting to know SSL’s range of hybrid studio technology.

Fully equipped for tracking and mixing the AWS truck includes an AWS 948 Delta console (featuring the newly upgraded SSL Delta-Control hybrid automation system), with Protools and Logic DAWs in full 5.1 surround. A Dante network is used to route audio from the DAW computer to SSL Alpha-Link AD/DA converters via a Network I/O MADI-Bridge. Additional analogue processing is handled by TotalRecallTM equipped outboard from the X-Rack series. Guests can immerse themselves in SSL’s SuperAnalogue quality, and experience the accelerated workflow of SSL’s ultra-efficient DAW recallable environment of Delta-Control and Total Recall.

The truck is also equipped to demonstrate SSL’s Nucleus2 DAW Controller & studio I/O and monitoring hub with its unique combination of features. Nucleus is widely regarded as the most comprehensive professional option available for inside the box production. The truck also features a Dante network equipped with SSL SB i16 and SB 8.8 Dante stageboxes. This system is configured to demonstrate the many benefits of a multi-station Nucleus2 education lab with multiple student stations all sharing audio sources from single or multiple recording spaces... AND a lecturer DAW via Dante.

The truck is touring North America, visiting educators, retail partners and offering exclusive demonstrations to customers. You can see a full tour schedule here:.
